The UGC has designated University of Delhi, usually referred to as Delhi University or DU, as a “Institute of Excellence.” According to the Outlook 2022 ranking, Delhi University is the 3rd-best Central university in India. With a total enrollment of more than 7 lakh students, DU has expanded to become one of the biggest universities in India. North Campus and South Campus are the two campuses that make up DU. Along with 86 departments, 23 Centers, 16 faculties, and 5 other institutes, it has 90 affiliated colleges.
